Purl and Pottery Too specializes in carrying a wide selection of quality yarn, knitting needles, and knitting supplies, and in knitting and pottery lessons.
My name is Dona Vidrine, and when my husband and I moved to Cedaredge, Colorado in June of 2006, I discovered that the closest shops selling quality yarn, knitting needles, and knitting supplies were either an hour's drive north to Grand Junction or an hour's drive south to Montrose. With gas prices at an all-time high and uncertain driving conditions in the winter, I decided to open Purl-N-Pottery Too in August 2008, so that local knit-a-holics would have a local retailer for quality yarn, knitting needles, and knitting supplies.
In addition to these items, I also carry a variety of buttons to put the finishing touches on knitting projects, and several lines of other merchandise, such as WoodWick candles, desk calendars and greeting cards made by local artists, handmade fair-trade baskets made in Ghana, and other items handmade by me and other local artists.
Lastly, I offer knitting and pottery lessons for children and adults, individually or in groups.
